“Meerhoven is a family-friendly neighbourhood with good facilities and nature. As an active person in social life, I am willing to connect people and to create a more interactive and happy community for internationals and locals.”
I am working together with our MIP team members to create opportunities and make an impact for internationals in Meerhoven to help them connect and integrate.

I moved to Meerhoven from Italy in early 2016 together with my mixed Mexican-Italian family. After living in several countries in Europe, we made this place home! I am a European funding manager and I work in Meerhoven too. I started volunteering for the Meerhoven Internationals Platform in 2017, after attending the Dutch course organised by the MIP itself. Having a school aged daughter, I am mainly involved in MIP activities in cooperation with the neighbourhood schools and in child friendly events.
I am from Bulgaria and moved to the Netherlands with my family in the summer of 2015. Meerhoven attracted us with its fine location, beautiful spacious park and a good quality of life.
In the recent years Meerhoven has become a unique ecosystem with its cultural diversity and highly educated people coming from all over the world and I’ve embraced the idea to contribute to this interesting and diverse society.
I find it important to support various social initiatives, so in 2017 I have joined the platform, helping the team with the coordination of the projects and various educational and social events.
I come from Poland and I have been living in the Netherlands since 2001. I am a linguist and a teacher by profession and I specialise in foreign language acquisition. I also am a mum of two beautiful daughters. I joined Meerhoven International Platform at the beginning of 2018 and I help to organize and coordinate different projects focusing on those related to local schools and language learning. I also write and edit different texts for the platform.
